Summer, definitely summer. (And perhaps tornado season)

Summer... lots of areas down here test on Wednesdays, so I can catch more since I'm out of school. My university likes to have my required classes during the test time. Half of the sirens in the state go off while I'm suck in class crunching Java, C#, and everything under the sun. :|

The best time to have a siren hobby in chopper level 7 would be during tornado season.
I love Yamaha Music Sirens.

For me it's any day of the week, but the best time to get out and record is definitely summer time. This year I have three field days, as I like to call them, to go out and record (weather permitting).
Whatever you do, don't push that big red button🔴!!!

Definitely during the summer. Once every 2 or 3 months I'll skip classes to film a siren in Milwaukee since they do alert and attack most months but I don't skip for other places. But in my area we still have a handful of places that test Saturdays (Kenosha, Washington, Ozaukee, Fond du Lac, Winnebago, Outagamie, and Dodge counties) so I can go to those places whenever I want. Meanwhile a larger handful of places test on a Wednesday (Milwaukee, Dane, Jefferson, Sheboygan, Rock, Waukesha and Walworth counties) and Brookfield & New Berlin go off on Thursday and the City of Waukesha go off on Fridays.

I would definitely say summer, since only a couple counties near me test on non-school days.

Gonna have to agree, summer all the way.

I do, however, occasionally enjoy seeing a siren shoot snow everywhere.
