How about a re-upload?

Mon Jun 22, 2015 1:34 pm

Hi all,
Long time no see!
Thought I'd try and upscale this to HD and reupload it to Youtube, and it didn't come out too bad.
Some of you have seen this before, some of you may have not!
Anyway, enjoy!

Dan.

Thanks! I like a nice tasty re-upload in the morning.

With all of the joking aside, Very nice video! That's a pretty neat siren. Do you happen to know anything about it, like who made it, etc.?

Hmmm
All I remember the guy saying about it was...
It's original location was up on a post office roof. (I think lol)
They refurbished it, and changed the original three phase motor to a single one for easier running convinience, but as you could hear in the video it only sounded about three quarters up to power. Most likely the generator wasn't powerful enough.

It is also rather unusual to see a British-made 8-12 siren. Typically sirens were 10-12, 8, or the occasional 10-12-15.

I agree, very odd, not saying one or two didn't sneak through the net!
