This thing is HUGE. I don't belive any siren has ever been mounted that high.
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.

I'm going to hold my thoughts until i hear what it actually sounds like. Judging by the size and the height off the ground, I would probably dig my self 10feet under.

My thoughts exactly. Sound and all. I've had lots of nightmares with sirens, and they are usually gigantic like this, with no direct resemblance to any existing siren. I felt very uncomfortable watching that video for some reason.

Now THAT'S a siren! I agree, that's like something I'd come up with in my strangest dreams.

A question: Can anyone tell me why they mounted the horns vertically? Wouldn't horizontal mounting give a wider dispersion angle?

Unfortunately it is not real, from what I gather from using online translators.

From the description: "A monstrous electronic siren which will probably exist in reality, never. Gund on the huge volume we would have to mount it on a TV tower or a very high mast."

Introductory text: "solch eine sirene giebt es nicht" = "there is not such a siren"

Regardless, it is still really cool.
