T-bolts in Minnesota?

Sun Jul 12, 2009 3:31 am

Since we seem to be on the topic of "sirens by state" do any of you guys know of specific sirens in MN? (especially t-bolts :D) I know of:

T-bolt 1003 in Aitkin, MN:

T-bolt 1003 in Crosslake, MN (I don't have a video of it)

T-bolt 1003 in Deerwood, MN (I don't have a video of it)

T-bolt 1003 in New Hope, MN

July 2009 Monthly test (only got attack)

August 2009 Monthly test (entire test--Alert and Attack)

T-bolt 1000T in Minneapolis, MN (on top of tower near Lake of the Isles)

Has anybody seen any of these? Just curious.

I have heard of a t-bolt in Eagan, Bloomington, I think some others in Mpls.

What have people heard of[/url]

Well there's a 1003 in Bagley, 2 1003s in East Grand Forks, and 1 in Chisago City...those are the ones I've seen in person at least! I'm sure there are a hellufa lot more!

Bloomington has a few t-bolts, most notably the 1003 on top of a gold-ish office building in Appletree square

The attack signal goes so low you can hear it from my house! I live around 4 miles from this siren...

Monticello used to have thunderbolt 1000's.
As far as eagan goes, I know you mentioned thunderbolts. They had a 1003 by Target on Cliff Road, but that was the first to go. All their 1000T's were replaced by 2001's.

Is this list of t-bolts any good? I am not sure if it is updated or not.

Not AFAIK. tboltkid520 could give you a better answer. I know Austin gave our old T-Bolts to surrounding communities. I'd seen one waiting to be put up in Rose Creek.
