Thunderbolt 1000T Attack/Alert **updated w/link**

Tue Jun 02, 2009 5:30 pm

Here's the video I got of one of Tinley Park's Thunderbolts I think set to chopper level 6. AFAIK, all the Tbolts are dual-toned and are slowly being replaced when they break down with 2001s.

This one sure sounds healthy to me! I didn't think it was going to go off as it was a minute or two late, but it did and it scared the living daylight outta me! 3 minutes of attack, then 3 minutes of alert.

Great sounding T-Bolt, man. It kind of sounds more like chopper level 6 to me.

The wind down nearly mimic's that dual tone whelen 3016 to which I think was recorded in Colorado? Very cool to hear this none the less. :)

That's one long wind-down at the end!

Anyone else notice the pitch jumping around a little in Alert mode? It sounds like it may have dirty slip rings.

It did seem to change pitch when it was facing away from me during alert. Overall I think it sounded pretty healthy though!

Oh and I forgot to add this pic...while I was waiting for the Markham 3T22 to go off, I got this blast from the past picture at the public works parking lot right next to it and thought it was pretty cool!
