2 video's of my Thunderbolt

Sat May 23, 2009 5:06 pm

I was able to run my thunderbolt in the garage that I have recorded all of my personally owned sirens in. This is using the AR timer in ALERT & ATTACK with out the compressor.

I bet it is REALLY loud in that garage!

Awesome video, though!

Attack signal on your thunderbolt sounds downright creepy with its slow wind up and wind down!
Actually it sounds like a Carter with some growl to it!
I am Thunderbolt. Hear me ROAR!

Love that sound. I bet you get some looks running down the road with that behind you! You should take it back to the station where it was in service sometime and fire it up.

I can't remember if I offered you one before but I'll send you a 110volt vacuum motor if you want it. All you would have to do is make an adaptor to attach it to the blower relief valve with the movable part of the valve removed. Then you could run it with some air going through it. It gets louder but not that much louder. It mainly fills out the sound and gives it some low end. I'll send you one for cost of shipping. I don't think it would be even $15 to send one to you parcel post. Maybe less. They aren't that heavy. If I had access to a place like that to run my Thunderbolt back when I had it I would have loved to try it with one of the vac motors blowing through it. I did it in my garage a few times with short blasts and it was pretty hilarious. I'll do it again when I get the 1003 built up. It'll be a while before that happens though. If you are interested PM me or email me.
