Better Siren Coverage

Thu May 07, 2009 1:33 am

Well, I decided to get my final video of the siren system test in my city. I wanted to see how loud the 2001-SRNB is from my house since it got moved. It's MUCH louder than it used to be. And I can hear the 2001-130 very well. I have better siren coverage for tornado warnings, now. Sorry for the beeping noise. That was a truck backing up. Anyways, enjoy! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uf1zthmdJhI

Very nice, Brandon!

How far away are those 2001's from you? The sound like their only 1/4 of a mile away, because you can hear almost the whole wind down from both sirens.

Looking for a manual? I probably have it here: SirenManuals.com

I think I'm only a few blocks down from the SRNB because I can see the water tower from my house. And that's where it's located. The 130, it's located at the SAME spot the Thunderbolt 1000T was. It's mounted a lot higher, though. I think I'm less than a mile away from the 130.
