Good to see that Dallas is filling in the gaps with more sirens, and on concrete poles.

Dallas has/d a system of around 100 FS Thunderbolts. I have heard something about a Modulator/electronic for a flood siren, though I don't know if this is true. I have noticed that one or two old Tbolt sites were replaced with older 2001's some time ago. (Like the 2001 at Dallas Executive Airport).2t22boy wrote:I thought Dallas had some Whelens?
It takes a serious crane truck to set one also. The spun concrete pole we mounted the 2t22 on weighed over 4400 pounds.Alasiren1977 wrote:Are all Dallas sirens on the spun concrete poles? This is great that they are using these types of poles cause it would take a serious act of god to move one of those types of poles!!
