Sounds like the housing is rattling a lot on that Whelen. It makes it hiss like a Thunderbolt though.

The TBolt sounds like it could use an inspection, but it still sounds great.

For some reason, much of the video's that I have seen on that particular Whelen series had that odd rattling/hissing sound. I'm guessing it is from the cage on the siren being loose.

Could it be all of the sound waves traveling through the small screens at fast speeds? I don't know how to exactly word what I am trying to say. Just throwing a guess out there.
