Wow, I must say that has to be one of the highest pitched 1000s I've ever heard. If it weren't for the typical raspy sound that most Thunderbolts have, it'd be hard to tell at a distance that it's a 1000 and not a 2001 of some kind. Must be one of those 1000s with the 6-port rotor. Very nice recording!

Probably a RCM1 transformer reversal...very interesting though!

Well, all in all we know where the precursor of the 2001 came from now. :P

Despite the rotor not working as it should, good recording none the less. Just that I've never heard a 1000 go up that unbearably high in pitch. It almost sounds like a STH-10 when its running in attack too!

When it's in Alert, it sounds sort of like a Modulator, especially since it has a broken rotator. I've actually heard a 1000 go higher than that one, but sadly, the one I heard is long gone.

This one sounds like a level 7 with a slow wind-down. If it was set a couple of taps lower, it would probably sound more like an STH-10.

Could be level 6, it sounds like it's nearly 2 semitones lower than the low note on the high pitched Hawaii Thunderbolt which has the same slow wind down issue.

Definitely a 5 port. You can kind of hear the actual chopper rotating, and judging from the sound of that in relation to the main frequency, it has to be five.

I got a reply from Hamilton County EMA. A work order has been issued to repair the rotator , and i'm happy to report that this 1000 is NOT! on the replacement list. :D This 1000 is at least 45 years old and sounds identical to the Park Place 1000 in downtown Cincy. You can hear it very clearly in my White Oak 1000t video.
