Wow, I'm really impressed with these new T-135s! They really have a great sound, and are nice and loud, even at the distance you were from it. Very nice recording! :)

Why does it rotate before it winds up?
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

There might be a small delay, however this is probably just an optical illusion. It takes a couple seconds for the sound to reach the camera, especially if the camera is any considerable distance from the siren. Notice how when the siren rotates and crosses axis with the camera, it hasn't reached its loudest point. Additionally, there is a lot of wind today, and that greatly impacts how well the sound will carry.
