Does anyone know if any of these sirens in Sacremento are still in use?

I would think that the Nuclear siren would work, but the rest I doubt work.

The 1003 is a tsunami siren and yes they still use it. :)

The Rancho seca siren system is defunct now as the nuclear plant was decomissioned in 1989. It is unknown by me if the Sacramento system is still functioning.

That 1003 seems to still be in use, becuase I did a Birds Eye of the Arden Fair Mall, and I found this 1003, and it was facing a different direction than in this photo. At least that one is still in use.

What about that P-10/15 and the 3 unknown sirens?

How would a tsunami hit Sacramento?

It's close to the ocean.

Sacramento is over 70 miles from the Pacific Ocean (Golden Gate inlet) and over forty miles from the northernmost extreme of San Pablo Bay. It sits at an elevation of 52 feet. There is no danger of tsunamis.

Must be some big ole' waves, because Sacramento is inland a good piece.

Hey if the tsunami were big enough it'll wash into the bay and push all the way up the Sacramento delta and river all the way to Shasta dam flooding the whole area Stockton included so that tsunami theory might have some validity, it would have to be on a cataclysmic scale though lol......
