A heads up - I now have access to a system through work relating to every siren system in the greater Cincinnati area.

If anyone has questions as to a siren location, type or status then please let me know.

There's nothing more to tell in all honesty - But if anyone has questions relating to sirens in the area I can probably give you a more corroborated answer.

Clayton, do you know if Clermont, and Butler canceled?

I wonder if they will sound for the statewide tornado drill in a few weeks.

I suppose it's a good thing Anderson Township tested their sirens earlier this month, now that the tornado came through.

Anderson Township does not test their sirens, Hamilton County EMA does. They are tested 1st Wednesday of the month every month except in bad weather

He's referring to when three of Anderson Township's sirens were being worked on and possibly tested intermittently on February 16th.

Apparently, an EF-0 tornado was confirmed going through Anderson Township, but none of the sirens ever sounded, because the EMA was never given a reason to. Makes me think they need to bring back the policy of sounding the sirens for a Severe Thunderstorm Warning with a Tornado Watch again.

I can see why people are upset about the sirens not being sounded, but NWSILN cannot see tornadoes on their radar... it's just not usually that easy. Everyone should have a weather radio.

Also found it interesting that they referenced the Thunderbolt on ATFD instead of the T-128. Albiet, both are active.
