Please mark the Kalkaska Model 5 as active for fire calls. Yesterday I heard it faintly from the McDonalds and I asked on Google and someone said it sounds during the day but not at night. Now I have to go up there and film it for a call

I live in Kalkaska, and I've never even heard it go off.

I've asked multiple people from the area and they've said it's active. I'm going to have to hang out down there and monitor the fire frequency.

The mystery siren in Ruby, Michigan across from the General store is marked as an Eclipse 8?
Went on streetview and can verify it as a WS-2008.

Lol, i'd definitely want to do that. GT rural recently disbanded, wonder if anyone would start using their sirens. Kingsley's is gone, so they'd have to buy a new one.

Springfield Twp station in Fife Lake used to set theirs off at noon every day, and even participated in the statewide drill this year. Would've loved to hear that go off again.

Is that the STH? I live close enough to Fife Lake that I could walk there, so i'm definitely going to spend some time camped outside of their FDs.
