Is this a Federal Model B or a Sterling? I can't tell.

It is located at the Lee Volunteer Fire Department in Lee, Maine.
Model B from what I can tell

It's a later model Type-B.

I saw this siren inside one of the huge guns on the USS alabama its definitely some kind of federal signal, and I've been searching for hours and hours and all I've seen is some eBay ad of one that looks like this but is all silver and the ad had no name for it just
"Vintage Fire truck Federal Signal Siren Ambulance Fireman Navy Engine Room" as the title. So does anyone have any clue to what this thing is? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wD1CQN ... p=drivesdk

What you have there appears to be a Federal Model AX blast-proof siren.

Actually now that I look at the model ax, the front looks the same but the body of the siren looks different... Any other ideas?

That one in your picture is simply an older model.

Look like a model 5 but both shrouds have the same diameters?

That's still a Model 5.
