Found an unknown siren in Berwyn, Nebraska. Looks to be a mechanical siren or a megaphone on a pole.

From this angle you can see the telltale signs of a Sterling Little Giant. If you have a look you can see the space on the exposed stator (without a horn) where the Sterling name is cast in that oval-ly shape.

I'm new to the board, but not new to the siren community (WhelenSirenFan).

In Sault St. Marie Michigan, home of the bumble-jailbar bolt, there's a WW2 era siren that does blasts every night at 10:00 on the back of city hall. I've included a link to the site with the photos. Can anyone tell me what this old one is?

And such a nice find! A common Cold War (?) siren next to a Rare siren. Anyone knew when do they test this, and is both sirens active?
