How do some enthusiasts buy/get sirens?

First off, happy new year, im hyped to be the (probably) first post this year.

so how do people get their hands on thunderbolts, 2001s, model 5s and stuff like that? ive looked a bit on the internet and couldnt find anything.

Most enthusiasts usually buy sirens off of people who are selling them on Ebay. If you live close enough to a siren graveyard (Like West Shore Services), you can buy one off of them for a reasonable price, but you’d have to get ready for a lot of refurbishment, unless you get lucky with a siren in good condition. If you get lucky, you can directly get one from an old system when they remove it!

If you're lucky enough, on a road trip you might pass a downed siren with its replacement installed next to it. Have cash, be punctual, and hope you get in contact with the right people!
