I'm in a letter writing campaign trying to get the gas-powered T-bolt 7000 from an abandoned Los Angeles County Sheriffs station... Lots of letters written, none answered yet :(

That would be the 2000 series Thunderbolt in San Dimas which I photographed for you right ?

(The System 7000 has the all the equipment in a shed vs an oversized blower box)

At the very least, I'd go for the lower unit with the engine, generator, blower, and controls.

Oh yea, I remember that Jackie guy. In fact, when I read this post the other day I got a feeling it was the Sherman 1003. You don't have a blower or any more RCM's do you?

No. I don't figure on ever finding an RCM 3 for it. Dallas will be bringing
down all their Thunderbolts in the next year so that'll probably be my
source for a blower and RCM if I can make the room. I really don't have
room to put the horn right now. I need to call Dallas OEP again and find
what the deal with their old sirens will be. Last I talked to them they didn't
know how the contract was going to cover removal of the old sirens.
That'll be 90+ Thunderbolts when that happens.
