The Official Pennsylvania Siren Map

Fri Jan 15, 2021 1:31 pm

Hello all.
I have this map to share with you all.
Me, Luke and sirens are cool have made this map of PA.
It is still a WIP, we are finishing up power plants such as Three Mile Island and Beaver Valley and checking some fire stations.
I started in around August, as you can see we have come very far.
This was quite a pain in the arse lol.

This is excellent so far! It looks like you may be working from West to East? There's some sirens missing from the northeastern corner of the state, I figure you'll get to that eventually.

In the areas you've finished, there's a couple missing sirens:
Mansfield - STH-10 mounted alongside Besanceney Drive
Ebensburg - Eclipse 8 near the intersection of Rowena Drive, Tanner Street, and Ghost Town Trail
Rome - 10V2T at the fire department
Bangor - 3V8H or 7V8 inside the belfry at 30 North 1st Street
Bangor - Model 2 at Second Ward Fire Company
Bangor - Model 2 at Liberty Fire Company

I'll keep a look out for any others

The STL-10 in Hershey is gone with the building it once stood on, therefore no longer active.

After: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.2875834 ... 312!8i6656
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

There doesn't appear to be a siren here, can you provide more information?

(Yes, I went through that whole list just out of curiosity and boredom.)

The Slippery Rock EOWS 115 is used for tornadoes. But it was a former fire siren.
