What's with the open frame motor on the 5? I've never seen that before. :?

Being new to the hobby, I don't know much at all about this siren, but I was told it's a very early version of the 5. To me, the motor housing looks much newer than the siren. Maybe a replacement motor?

I haven't touched it since we unloaded it 2 weeks ago, and it looks like I'm going to be unable to play with it for the next week or so... I'm anxious to play with it, find out some facts on it, and most importantly, BLOW it :P
