I think it may have to do with the amount of traffic it receives if I had to take a blunt guess.

Keywords also help too. I've found a few maps by typing "Google Maps" in the search along with the name of the map. I've had no problem finding smaller maps with less traffic.

Before I was a member, I used your map by searching NC Siren Map. I used it a few times, along with Various Sirens of North Carolina (Who made that?). Now it doesn't appear anywhere on google.
