Gas powered Allertor?

Just wondering, is this one of those gas powered Allertors? It looks kind of funny.

no thats a regular allertor...the mobile directo has a very short projector cone, and you would see the motor somewhere if it was one

Most likely not. You'd see quite a few more boxes, more like the petrol (I'm Australian, get used to it) powered Thunderbolt.

I agree... It looks electric. I've seen an ad (posted here last year?), for a gas Allertor. I would think that in Australia, any non-electric siren should be
Diesel, not petrol
. (I said that because I'm jealous that we don't have small Diesels here in the USA much anymore)

Any diesel-run siren installed in a cooler climate (i.e. everywhere outside of southern California) would need an extensive heating system along the fuel lines to prevent the formation of paraffin.

It is electric.. It has an electric meter on the pole. It does look funny tho.
