The Q siren's rotor was designed by a salesman, and it doesn't move as much air as a B&M rotor does.
The B&M rotor is designed so when the vehicle it's on moves faster, the siren gets louder.
Just giving a Super Chief a spin with my hand and blowing into it, it made a pretty good difference.
As for the Q, it would increase the sound output with a bit of air but not anywhere near as much as a B&M siren.
Proud owner of a 4/5 Thunderbolt, Federal Sign & Signal SD-10, large Heath Engineering Siren, and a bunch of smaller sirens.
