Sirens tested at 4 in the morning today!

Thu Aug 23, 2007 12:59 am

Well unfortunately i woke up to the testing of our towns sirens at 4 in the morning! I was kind of scared because why would they be testing at this time!? right? reason: my town is certainly strange with their testing. It was tested 5 times within 2 hours, so i barely got to sleep lol. I also obviously couldn't record them due to the time of day, so sorry about that

How do you figure it was a test? The EMA people would have to be out of their minds. It had to be an accidental activation or something.

I asked about it...they've done it before, as well as testing around midnight, as well as while we were in school

yeah...and also, i've mentioned before, they use random tones, they don't just use wail for tests, or whoop, or hi lo, it'll be 1, 2, 3, or 4, and never the same ones, they've had the sirens for 8 years now, i don't think they need to play with the tones to see how each one sounds now
