Shawnee County Siren Problems - Update

Mon Aug 13, 2007 9:12 pm

I have a question. Ok, Today was test day for Shawnee County (Testing is every Monday at noon weather permitting) So i went to try and record one of our Thunderbeams. 12:00 comes around and nothing...12:10 comes around nothing...12:15 i leave. The sirens in that part of town never went off! Coming home the 2001 by my house was facing the same direction as when i left (Not sure if the Model 5 went off) Anyways i sent an E-Mail to EM and they said the sirens were tested today and to give them the siren that was not sounding. If it was just the Thunderbeam not sounding i would have heard a Thunderbolt that is 3/4th mile from the Thunderbeam but i heard nothing. What could have gone wrong?
