Skokie Illinois

Wed Aug 08, 2007 10:29 pm

Any one in the area of Skokie Illinois might be interested to know that
they have some T-bolts they need to get rid of. I got an email from
a guy with the Skokie FD saying they just put in a new system and they
want to get rid of their old Thunderbolts. I believe they have all been taken
down but the catch is that they don't have any control boxes with them.
Not sure if that means the RCMs are gone or what.
He did say the things are in "good to excellent condition."
Anyway, just thought
I would put up a note here.

Did you happen to get an email address? I'm definitely close and interested!

I don't really want to start passing out the guy's email address.
I replied to his email and didn't get anything back.
Here's the Skokie FD contact info.

Calling yields the best results anyway.

I sent an email to the main site's email address. USUALLY, they redirect the emails to the appropriate person. I hope to get a reply soon.

Do you know how many sirens they have?

They have 5 or 6 tbolts. Theyve had some issues in recent years with the siren on the roof of the CTA building going off by itself, im definitely interested as Im only about 5 miles from Skokie.
