After my friend called Ashland County and they confirmed they were testing, we made our way down to Sullivan to hear this 3T22. This replaced a 5 or 5BT a long time ago as evidenced by the mount and other pole near the FD in the video. Ashland County has been slowly replacing their 5T’s, and this 3T22 probably came from somewhere else in the county. Ashland County tests their sirens on the first Wednesday of every month at 12PM. For hearing our first 3T22, this siren was sure loud and potent, and was higher pitched than most single-phase units are; although this one might be running on a higher voltage than most single phase xT22’s. Enjoy!
