Yep, In Arizona.
Adding onto this, Tempe, Arizona. They're used for the Tempe Town Lake for things relating to weather (ie. floods, wind, lightning/storms) and for dam breaks and stuff like that. Two notable instances of their activation, per the Wikipedia article on the lake, were the 2010 dam break and the 2020 derailment of a train on the railroad bridge over the lake.
