Anybody up for a siren hunt in Kiev?

I can sort of hear a 9:12 siren among the others, or is it just a mere undertone from the other siren(s)?

That’s an interesting sound to say the least...

Sounds like a whole lotta car horns.

I doubt very seriously those are American sirens. To me, they sound like some old soviet sirens and some air horns syncing up; thus sounding similar to thunderbolts, etc.

Eithier way it's an surely eerie... truly haunting ambiance.


I wish we actually had pictures of these old Soviet sirens, that'd be interesting...

May not be a system of American sirens, but the choir of sirens sure does sound good.

Sounds a bit like the fire horns in my home town. When Thunderbolts were being sold, Ukraine was still part of the Soviet Union, and they would not have invested in an American-made siren system any more than an American town would have purchased a Russian-made S-40 siren.

Sounds like one of my ambient music compositions lol.
