The Siren Board

So earlier this week, I took a trip out to Illinois to film some cool sirens and accomplish a goal of mine: Seeing a P-50 go off. Overall, the trip was a wild success. Results:

What audio recorders do you use? Really great quality! Nice videos.

I love the recording of the STH-10. Also, one thing I like about PN-20's is how "choppy" they sound.

Thanks Christian! I use Sony ICD-PX333s, and they do the job quite well (As long as mic sensitivity is on low).

That EOWS sounds horrible. I wonder what's wrong with the controller.

Batteries I suspect, as there's no rotation. If it was rotating and was sounding that bad and quiet then something has blown up in there.

It’s rotating. The video is an audio recording with a still image.
