AT LEAST CONTACT THE CONTRACTOR AND ASK THEM TO GENTLY LOWER THE SIREN AND SAVE THE SIREN.
The rest can be worked out later.

First off ,are you in the immediate area? do you have the time to take off from work, school,or whatever it is you do during the work week to Physically go down to the location and inquire about the device from someone who's working on the street in the area? that's where I'd start.and if noone is around keep returning each day to see what is happening around the area.Be patient and vigilant and you'll be rewarded.....

The SD-10 siren is too big & heavy for me to get, but I'm looking to buy the AR timer. I got the contact info for the Contractor who took it down.

The Contractor is:

San Jose Signal Electric Const Incorporated
Po Box 611525
San Jose, CA 95161
(408) 929-4900

Ask for Brian

Note: Again, I'll probably get the AR Timer only.

Now see how easy that was? Hacksaw I dont think there is a timer with that sd 10 it's a old three phase phone relay. It's the same relay that I got with the L. A. sd10 I got last year I really did'nt see any use for it so I pitched it If that was a mistake then It's my bad. I figured at the time I could get a lighter three phase switch for it. Now for the rest of you, somebody go buy that siren before I get greedy and go get it for myself

Go rescue it.
Don't allow someone to buy it and scrap it.
How much does the contractor? want for it?
Does (did) that telephone switch simply operate from a telephone circuit which would turn it on continuously and/or cycle on and off from the telephone circuit and not a siren controller's own cycle cam?
Thanks
