Hey all,
Yesterday I was able to go out for a brief bit to get some better pictures of some of the sirens in my immediate area; enjoy the collage!

Final stop: 2001-130 off Theodore Rd. by the fire station. Technically this is a Joliet siren, but it's the closest one to my house.

Interesting the ACA sirens have newer FS controllers.

Something tells me that it's just a radio inside. Romeoville's PN-20 had a similar box on it and activated with Federal FSK with the rest of the sirens.

I would think so. I've seen Sentry sirens that activate via Federal FSK with other Federal Signal sirens from down here in Ohio with a county that uses Federal FSK and they have boxes identical to those on all their sirens.

Pretty sure those P-50's are Joliets. They switched everything over to FS a few years ago. That's why they have been installing 2001's. Seems like the only ACA sirens they kept were the P-50's and the RM-130 at Woodruff Golf course.

Looking back, these P-50's are more than likely Joliet's, as they also have a newer Federal Radio. There are still 2 P-50's in Plainfield too; one off Renwick at Rt. 59 and one off N. Rt. 59 by the Meijer. These ones do not have the newer radio. A bit of a side note: I do remember a P-50 being replaced back around 2013 or so. It was off Essington Rd. and Caton Farm Rd. at the fire station. A fresh 2001 now stands there.
