Wilton International Site Toxic Alarm is being decommissioned and the individual companies will use their own warning siren instead.

What a waste of money. Their sirens are nearly new.

exactly, saying that they are hard to maintain and outdated does make my blood boil, there were nothing wrong with them and they are what 10 years old? so another system gone now :( also some good news, new video coming 7th April, going to see my CS6's brother at Eastman, i'm gonna arrive early to see if i can spot it as i think i have located it

I'm staying in touch with Amy Shaw, PR officer for Sembcorp Utilities to see what can be done, maybe possibly saving some equipment. its worth a shot

Siren in Peak district

There is a siren in the Peak District, near Bamford Edge at one of the stone quarrys, used to warn for when they're blasting rock to get the locals away as shown in this video. https://youtu.be/q5k-eYx7JAo
I only went on Wednesdays and heard a test around 12, so unsure if it's everyday or only Wednesdays they test it, I cannot find it yet on maps though.

its a CooperWAVES more likely as the USAF have a large presence here
