Here are my videos from the statewide drill. Any thoughts on what the mystery siren is? Some thoughts are an 8 port Model 5 or an STL-10 with no horns. Windup-wise, I'm leaning towards the latter but I really have no idea.

That mystery siren bears all the marks of an old Model 7 by the looks of things. If you look at the stator base you can see the bolts that hold the stator to the motor legs. Also has the timbre of an 8 port Federal.

Although it kind of sounds like a Siro drone and if you look at the motor I count that feasible because the STL-10 has a top part.

That top part is called the motor.

I think your mystery siren there is ab old 8-port Fedelcode with a cast iron rotor. The older Fedelcodes had 8 full-length vanes instead of 4 long and 4 short like the newer ones. This resulted in a lack of that "roar" that most 8 port sirens have. T128's and 508's have similar rotors.
