Recorded on March 7, 2018. This is a video of my Thunderbolt 1000 (single phase model) running full power for its first full run (with blower, no rotator) on the 2018 South Carolina Statewide Tornado Drill. This drill was conduced at 9:00AM ET. Me and my father have been working hard to get it assembled and running for this. It worked!! I got this Thunderbolt 1000 from Brendan Williamson. The blower components, it's not a 5M, it's a *4M. I don't want to give out where they came from yet (it's private for now). This siren can be heard over 10 miles away! I believe this siren is the loudest privately owned fully working Thunderbolt around. This siren's chopper motor had bearings and brushes replaced by Jeb in 2017. Unfortunately, the motor winding/armature have signs of wearing out and won't last forever. This siren was facing to Greenville County actually. All neighbors (who are home on the time of this) heard this siren! One neighbor came here after this test to see what's going on. My father did the full explaining about this and thought it was cool!

*Sirens heard:
My Federal Model 2T-125V (Alert Signal)
My FS 2001-130DC (Alert signal, running on low batteries, was running on a Bluetooth timer.)
No county sirens heard, the nearest county siren doesn't work and another nearest siren is too far to be heard.

Recorded by:
Panasonic HC-V180
GoPro Hero 3
Nikon Coolpix L310

You can really hear the current draw of that blower. Listen to that 2T (wondering if anyone else's lights went dim?!). Nevertheless it sounds great!
(Also it's a 4M blower but on a 1000 it still is very loud)

(Instead of posting this in a different topic, I decided to post it here.) This is a video of my 2001-130 running alert signal for the 2018 South Carolina Statewide Tornado Drill with eerie siren ambience. I apologize for the wind gusts. Yes, this siren's batteries are dying. The cold weather is also causing the batteries to run low. This siren is now being charged as of March 9. This siren is running on a Bluetooth switch timer (yes, it's new, and it works good on this). You can hear my Thunderbolt 1000 and Model 2T in the siren ambience.

I love the echoes of the Thunderbolt. It would be perfect if the 2T was turned off.
