Darley already struck a deal with FS in the past, basically their "Darley model 2/5/7" sirens were actually FS sirens with a custom housing (just sayin' that, if you didn't know just in case of.)

Also look closely at the "Darley Allertor", does that small logo on the motor housing sounds... rather familiar? ;)

Could the mystery 30 HP siren be a rebranded ACA Hurricane? IIRC the MKII had a 30 HP blower. It doesn't explain how it projects the sounds above people that are 400 feet or closer, though.

Yes, it was a Hurricane.
It doesn't explain how it projects the sounds above people that are 400 feet or closer, though.
Their job was not to explain how the product works but to sell it to you.

Interesting reading on the 25hp siren too if no one caught it, it is a 25hp siren that uses a housing similar to the 10HP Screamer but has 2 rotors mounted on the vertical motor... sounds an awful lot like a Super Banshee type siren to me
