Rare Google Maps Siren Find

Sat Jan 06, 2018 3:49 am

I'm not sure if anyone else has found this yet, but here's the coordinates for a very rare and very cool find, that I think someone who can make it out here needs to film... 41 33 32 N 93 46 35 W

I couldn't get the coordinates to work, but I did find the siren. Here's the link for those who have trouble finding it.

In my opinion, I think there way too many 2001's in Indiana!

I saw a similar setup like this except in a different area not too far from there once.
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.

I saw a setup similar to that at an overpass in West Des Moines...

Probably because that is West Des Moines. ;)

This is actually just south of Des Moines, probably the one you're thinking of.

Notice the Type I panel on the panel. That's actually 404R. 404Rs are not too common, which adds a little more rarity to the installation..
