Re-recorded on December 30, 2017. This is my last siren recording of 2017. This is a weekly fire/tornado siren test of the Newberry County fire/tornado siren system. This siren is tested every Saturday at 12:00 PM ET (not weather permitting). This siren is a 3 phase model (3T22A). I met up with Kaleb (Sirens of South Carolina) for the second time in 2017. This siren has a stuck solenoid box because I believe is a busted spring in the top solenoid box. Sorry about some wind gusts, foot steps, and talking heard in this video. The fire chief was coming out to check on us and he actually gave us a fire department badge! This siren is located in Newberry County, SC at St. Phillips Fire Department (166 Mud Creek Rd, Prosperity, SC 29127).
