Noramco Plant siren just woke me up

If anyone ever doubted how loud a 3 cell Modulator is, this should tell you. This woke me up from almost 3 miles away. 7:30 AM. must not have been anything major because emergency services doesn't have them on record for calling, but the security guard has bluntly hung up on me twice. The first time I simply asked if their siren was going off, he said yes, I ask if everything is ok and he hangs up. The second time, about 10 min later, I try again, politely tell him I was wondering about the siren going off, he asks "well, who are you?", I again, politely, tell him I'm just a concerned citizen. Click.
I bet it was an accidental activation and they're being instructed not to talk, but you just announced to everyone within several miles that something happened. No need to be rude.
