Can't find any forums on the Weford County, Mi, Systems, so I figured i'd make one.
Wexford has 4 CD era Federal Signal Sirens, one removed sterling, and a supposed removed model 5.

Locations of the 4 CD sirens that are still active.

2T22 - Cadillac Historical Society: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Wexfo ... 85.3988863

SD-10 - Economy Inn https://www.google.com/maps/@44.2402728 ... 312!8i6656

SD-10 The WEX Civic Center (CentralMiSirens Recorded this one) https://www.google.com/maps/uv?hl=en&pb ... gQpx8IfzAN

RSH-10 Thunderbeam (Trashbeam) Manton Station (may be failing) https://www.google.com/maps/place/Manto ... 85.3989439

Removed Sterling M-10 - Manton Historical Museum - streetview hasn't been updated since siren removed. https://www.google.com/maps/@44.4143333 ... 328!8i1664

possible removed model 5: Buckley Fire Station: https://www.google.com/maps/@44.5044598 ... 312!8i6656

Let me know if you know anything about the system.

Bump. Recently, I got in contact with the new EMA director, asking about the system's status and asking when it was tested. He responded by saying that sirens are tested on the first Saturday of the month April - October at Noon , as previously tested. He did not specify what signal, or how long. My goal is to have the entire system recorded [hopefully with tones edited out] by the end of the 2019 testing season. I've heard a rumor that the downtown Cadillac 2T22 does alert, while the SD-10s do attack. We'll just have to see!

There used to be a 3rd SD-10 at Cadillac HS by the football field. It shows up in old satellite view

I've often questioned the removal of it, and i've actually speculated that it was moved to the Wex from there, or the Wex siren was destroyed, and they took it from the High School and placed it at the Wex.

Also, I've spoken with the Manton FD, and they have determined that the Thunderbeam does not work. I took a trip down there yesterday and the power meter was reading 0KWH.

No the Wex SD-10 has always been there even when the one at the HS was still up. It was super crusty too. As far as I know they just removed it and that's it, I drove around that part of town last weekend and never saw anything.

Why would the RSH-10 be failing?

Power meter is reading 0KWH, which means no power is being drawn by the controller or radio

Bump. Recently someone found a Fedelcode Model 2 in Mesick on a short tower in a garden. This was once upon a time a part of the system.
