That thing must pack one heck of a serious punch when running at full speed with the blower, I can't wait to hear it running once it's fully restored.

Yeah ,It still kind of shock the ground due to the low HZ rating. We had about 85 psi in the air compressor and we blew the air through the port because if you were to blow air from the bottom you need to have a closed air seal ,meaning a bolted tube that connects from the blower to the sirens intake.

After listening to the video, perhaps they were aiming for the round-ish ports to produce a sound with multiple overtones in order to be noticeable? It almost sounded like it was 5/13 port.

Ok here is an update. So the place I bought the motor from wont respond to any of my emails ,so they basically screwed me over for sending me a defective 1 HP motor and wont send me another one. So whats gonna happen is im going to half to buy a whole new motor but probably on Ebay because its cheaper. Once that is taken care of ,I will order the 5 HP motor that powers the paxton blower ,but it wont be right after I get the 1 HP since I need to get more money and 5 Hp motors are about $500-$600 dollars and the 1 HP motor is about $200 from the place I bought the defective one from ,but I can probably find it on Ebay for around $150. I hope to get the 1 HP and 5 HP motor working and wired up by he end of this summer or this year. Then next year will be the horns and frame. The horns will be around $2000 to make and around $4000 for the steel frame assembly.

I hate it when companies do that.

yeah. that sucks badly, although there might be something happening there. keep trying

Yeah. I can find the same motor on Ebay for about $150 or even cheaper brand new.
