Electra Texas Tbolt 1003

Today my department responded to a very large grass fire outside town. I responded to the station with our Federal Thunderbolt 1003 sounding the alarm.

I work EMS in Archer City, but live in Electra where I am on the VFD. Work EMS there too.

Glad to see it works. I always thought it was a little strange that they didn’t have another siren on the north side of town. Always figured they’d have another SD-10, but never found one. The new system has good coverage.

I was driving to Haynesville AKA Punkin Center just north of Electra and found the Sd-10 sitting behind their station. Don't know for sure it it's Electra's old one though.

That's really cool!
It seems like as the years pass by, the more stations we see actually use the fire signal on their 1003s. It could just be me thought, I don't know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
