...Which will be gone next year. The rest of the sirens are either Carter's (of Burnley) sirens or Castle Castings sirens, which is what Domodulator said. The only siren I know of that is still working is at Sutton Bridge in Lincolnshire which is a Carter's siren with the stator heaters attached to it. Since that setup was common during the Cold War I'm presuming that is when it was installed.

Grimsby and Cleethorpes are the only towns in the UK to my knowledge have these Hörmanns most other places with flood sirens are usually Carters and Castle Castings with the odd Klaxon for Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire.
