In the alerting communicators of America video posted on soundmasters channel a p50 can be seen being installed
Where was that p50 at?

Interesting installation, alot of welding. I noticed it didn't stop rotating while doing attack. All the videos I've seen of them doing attack they did.

Im pretty sure the reason they did that was they wired the attack cam to both the rotator and motor contactors. therefore, when the motor winds down the rotator stops. some also had the rotator and the chopper wired together, so the rotator slowed down as the motor did so too.

Yeah the production units didn't use that platform for the siren head.

Honestly if you look at this mislabeled photo of this P50 siren"supposedly" in Amarillo, you can see it has the same mounting plate as the one in the video, so it looks like a few of these early P50's were installed.

The actual siren shape and fiberglass horn is different, along with the way it attaches to the stator assembly.
