I have a Federal Siren, Type E, Serial number: RL52086. I'm having a difficult time finding further information about this siren via the web. Is the date of manufacturing in the serial number? Possibly 1952? Does anyone out there have further info?

If the tag says "Federal siren" at the top, this unit is an older Type E; most likely from the early 40's.
