I don't know where this is, but this is exactly what fire alarms sounded like in older Oregon school buildings.

Holy wow, I've been trying to dig up that video for a while now. Congrats on finding it!

I would assume that's some form of smaller Federal siren, like a B9 or Model A-L.

Are there any more videos out there of these types of systems?

ive seen a siren like those mounted to a school. seemed to provide outdoor warning for fire alarms/drills when outdoor signals weren't loud enough
often looks out on a field or such.

My elementary school in Ashland, Oregon, had three of these in the main hallway and one in the gym, but none outside. For drills, they would run the sirens for a few seconds and then sound a continuous bell, but I believe pulling a station would give a continuous siren.
