2017 April Fools' Day madness in Calhoun County, MI!

Today, what would be comedic, is actually super amazing to me! Today I heard recorded a Thunderbolt 1003 in Albion, then an EOWS 612 in Battle Creek!
First was the 1003 located at Clinton and Cass in Albion. It is confirmed that the Model 5B north of town does noon blasts. The test was 15 minutes late, but chopper level 6 and 4 RPM was worth the lengthy wait!

Next up was the 612 in Battle Creek at Riverside School off of Riverside Drive. I had another radio with me to listen to Skywarn. The responsible person that normally activated the sirens wasn't at dispatch, delaying the test by 5 minutes. Someone else that was at dispatch had to set off the sirens, and he did just that. Sirens wailed/roared for over two minutes! Normally Battle Creek tests for a minute.
