I'm jealous.
You find those door wedge sirens. The one I finally spot is electronic.
You find that interesting mechanical/neon clock - I never even knew such a clock exists. But surprised they didn't just make it solid-state.

Apparently the circuitry was very expensive at the time. I have another one with a Panaplex display that is operated by rotating contactors, attached to a PC board, which form the numbers. They rotate each other, and the bottom one is pushed by an arm attached to a 1 RPM motor. I saw one on Ebay that was a Panasonic clock with a green, LED-like display that was actually lit by an incandescent bulb. It used some motor-driven mechanism to open and close the segments. As for AR timers, however, I have never played with one.
