This was probably my favorite shot from my picture trip after yesterday's failed test. This SD-10 is located at Italian Lake in Harrisburg, PA and is an old city civil defense siren. The building seen in the background is the old William Penn High School building, which currently sits vacant. Combined, these two abandoned pieces of history make for quite the eerie shot!

Here's mine from today from NW Ohio (aka the middle of nowhere...I am doing college visits around the state this week since I have Spring Break). They have 4 STH-10A's at BGSU; they look to be the post 1998 ones made right before they were discontinued..but I don't know; these sirens are not common where I live as on the other side of the state in NE Ohio we mostly have 2001's. I only got pictures of two of the STH's, the one on a roof of one of the buildings in the middle of the campus and the blurry one taken from my car. is at a maintenance building. The first one is the same as the last three pictures, just taken from the other side of the building, which is why they were a little better of a picture from the other side since it was closer to the siren.

Here's 3 of 5 (or more) pictures of sirens I'll send. (I have all my photos stored on a My Cloud, and the website is acting up.) These ones are in Fort Hood, Texas, taken February 18, 2017.

Here's a Modulator 6024 near some of the military operations.

This siren is near a military museum. It's a Federal Signal Modulator 5020, but one of the few 5020s that has a beacon on the top. All 6024s have them.

This Modulator 5020 picture was taken at night, and I believe it's near the III Corps office. It, along with the 5020 above, has a red beacon on the top. This is also one of my personal favorites, because the lighting made it look rather cool.

I'll post the others once I get the cloud to work.

It's been awhile since I last submitted photos for this one.

Here's the old FS 3T22A atop the old City Hall in Hudson, Ohio. It was replaced by five (5) ATI HPSS-32's in May 2017 which sound a short 15-second wail cycle for testing (they use the creepy, newer style wail tone instead of the Whelen knockoff or censor beep sine wave tone) on the first Saturday of the month (not during winter) at noon. The 3T22 used to do weekly noon blasts on Saturdays. The ATI pictured is at the Fire/EMS building just a couple blocks from old City Hall where the 3T22 still sits roof-mounted. It is my hope that it is reinstalled in another city in the county one day as it is in amazing condition and sounds amazing, and could easily be retrofitted and used somewhere else, but it's still here for now.
