Hello, as some of you guys know I recently acquired a Model D siren from eBay. I am in the process of restoring the siren and giving it a new coat of paint. Does anybody here know a red spray paint color that closely resembles the red used on most D's, A's and L's?, I can't seem to find anything without it being too bright colored or too dark.

I've heard that rust oleum has a color that is similar to that, but I don't know which one it is.

you could also take a flake of paint to a hardware store and they could make some paint.

Ehh I wouldn't use Rust-Oleum. That stuff is more of a headache than helpful. Especially if you are putting it on a siren that will be outside 24/7.
